Privacy Policy

This site has no analytics, no tracking and no cookies. It does not ask who you are and has no way of finding out. What follows is the short list of everything that does happen, so you can check it rather than take my word for it.

What is collected

Nothing. There is no registration, there are no forms, and no analytics service runs on these pages. I cannot see which pages you visited, where you came from, or how long you stayed.

Google Analytics was used until October 2026 and has been removed, together with the cookie banner it required. Any data it collected before then sat in Google's systems under their retention rules, and no copy of it is held here.

What is stored on your device

No cookies. The site uses your browser's local storage for two things you set yourself, which stay on your device and are never sent anywhere:

• the light or dark theme, when you use the toggle in the header;
• the view settings on the graph page, so it opens the way you left it.

Clearing your browser data removes both, with no other effect.

Requests to other companies

Two, and only one of them happens on its own:

• Weather. The footer shows the current weather in Pisa, fetched fromOpen-Meteo when a page loads. The request asks for a fixed location — mine, not yours — but like any web request it reveals your IP address to them. Open-Meteo states that it does not log personal data.
• YouTube videos. A few case studies include videos. They are not embedded: what you see is a cover image served from this site, and nothing reaches Google unless you press play. If you do, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com and from that moment YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the playback.

Photographs are served from media.fabiosbruun.com, which is this site's own storage, not a third party.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes connection data, including your IP address, to deliver the pages and to protect the site, as the technical operator of the service.

Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)

No consent is requested because no personal data is collected and nothing non-essential is stored on your device. The local storage described above is a preference you set yourself, which the ePrivacy Directive exempts from consent. Hosting rests on the legitimate interest of delivering and protecting the site.

You retain your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. In practice there is nothing here to access or erase, but you are welcome to write to the address above and ask.

Changes to this policy

If the site ever starts collecting something, this page will say so before it happens, and the date at the top will change.
